Aaron "Bootsie" Kirby, Jr., a beloved lifelong resident of Live Oak, FL, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on September 8, 1960, to the late Aaron William "Boots" and Gwendolyn Faye Kirby, Sr.,. Bootsie was known for his love of simple living and his ability to make light of any situation. He was a dedicated employee at PCS/Nutrien, where he worked for over 47 years. Bootsie enjoyed fishing, especially for brim and red belly, and hunting deer. He was a jokester who loved spending every dollar he had at the cow sale and was known for his hard-headed nature.

Bootsie is survived by his two sons, Jared Kirby (Kristen)  and Ethan Kirby (Tabby), his sister Wendy Collins, and his six grandchildren: Easton, Erin, Braylynn, Kail, Izzy, and Isaac. He was predeceased by his parents, Aaron William "Boots" and Gwendolyn Faye Kirby, Sr.

A celebration of Bootsie's life will be held with friends and family at Jared's residence at 8288 161st Road, Live Oak, on Sunday, February 8th at 1:00 pm.
