Alene Hicks Randall, aged 95, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025. A lifelong resident of Live Oak, Alene dedicated 25 years of her life to serving the community as a School Bus Driver for Suwannee County Schools. She was a devoted member of the Mt. Olive Church of Christ in Live Oak.

Alene is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Patsy Ward and her husband Ronnie of Live Oak, FL, and Sandra Sweat-McCarl of Live Oak, FL; her daughter-in-law, Connie Hicks; and her brother, Gleene Harrell. She leaves behind a legacy through her nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Hicks, her second husband, Herman Randall, her two sons, David Hicks and Larry Hicks, her brothers, Leon Harrell and Clifton Harrell, and her sister, Hazel Howard.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 8th at Daniels Memorial Chapel, followed by a service at 11:00 am officiated by Mr. Eric Musgrove and Mr. Ronny Howard. Interment will take place at Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery.
