Mr. Alvie Jackson "Jack" Williams, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the Veterans Hospital in Lake City, FL following an extended illness.

Jack was born on September 18, 1933, in Miami, FL to the late Alvie Jackson Williams, Sr. and Ruby Williams Bragg. Jack lived his early years in Axson, GA and Lake City, FL.

As a young man, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and he was a Korean War Veteran. After leaving the service, Jack returned to Lake City where he went into the Construction Business for many years.

In 1976, Jack met the love of his life, Mary Jeanne Johnson, and they were married on September 3, 1977, and made Live Oak their home.

Upon leaving the Construction Business, Jack began a long career with Occidental, PCS, in White Springs, FL and retired from there in 1998.

Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, college football, spending time with Mary Jeanne and their family. But above all, he cherished serving his church and church family.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his parent-in-laws, his daughter, Michelle Colabatistto, his son Alan Williams, his sisters, Jeannette (Ziggy) Hokaszewski, Christine (G.W.) White, and his brother, Lamar (Pat) Williams.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Jeanne, sisters and brother in laws, Regina and Billy Martin of Live Oak, Amy and Lucius Burnham of O'Brien, FL and Debi and Ricky Crabtree of Pulaski, TN, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and three great-grandchildren. As well as his chosen grandsons Trent and Finn Cline of Live Oak, a host of beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and his cherished best friend and constant companion, his beloved dog, Blaze.

A service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, October 25th at Friendship Baptist Church.
