Anita Louise Johnson Countryman; August 12, 1942 – March 9, 2023.  Anita was born in Peru, Indiana, to Kenneth F. and Thelma Smith Johnson   She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Cynthia L. Countryman.

She is survived by her husband the Reverend James R. Countryman of Live Oak, Florida; daughter Jenny Sue Countryman, Live Oak, Florida; Brittany, Nickerson, grandchildren, Ross, Kenton, Syler, Mayo, Florida; Brandon Taylor (Mikayla), grandchildren Easton, Colby and Makenna Live Oak, Florida, Reid Kelton, Live Oak, Florida; sister Carol Janocha of Safety Harbor, Florida.

She was a music teacher for fifty-eight years, retiring in 2018.

Mrs. Countryman spent the last four years in the nursing home.

Services will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, March 18th at Pinelevel Baptist Church with Rev. Lester Curry officiating and a visitation beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
