Ann G. Howell, born on November 11, 1938, in Durham, North Carolina, passed away on February 19, 2024, in Live Oak, Florida, at the age of 85. She was a cherished mother, a dedicated member of the community, and a loving wife to John William Howell Jr. for 69 years.

Ann and John were active members of the Community Presbyterian Church in Live Oak for many years. Ann's compassionate nature led her to work alongside her husband at Animal Services of Florida and volunteer at Love Inc. and Surrey Place Healthcare center. She had a passion for music, dance, golf, and cherished spending time with her friends and family.

Ann will be deeply missed by her son John W. Howell III, daughter Kim Howell, Cindy Mills (Todd Mills), Beth Harris, grandchildren Amy Howell, Amber Harris, Jarrod Harris, Ryan Mills, and great-grandchild Brantley Harris. She is preceded in death by her parents Bernice Gay, Addie Gay, stepfather Reid Broadwell, Leslie Broadwell, and grandson Drew Howell.

A ceremony to honor Ann's life will be held at Daniels Funeral Home, 1126 Ohio Avenue North, Live Oak, Florida 32064 at 11 am Saturday, March 2, 2024 with a visitation held prior to the service beginning at 10 am . Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
