Annette L. Lancaster, aged 69, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on November 26, 2025. Born on December 19, 1956, in West Palm Beach, Annette moved to Live Oak from Mayo over thirty years ago. She was of the Baptist faith and dedicated her career to the Department of Corrections, working at both Madison and Mayo Correctional Facilities and retiring as a Sergeant.

Annette had a passion for sewing and quilting, and she adored animals, especially roosters, which were her favorite decorations. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren and was known for her generous spirit and willingness to help others.

She is survived by her daughter, Fawn Hurley; adopted daughter, Sofia Zuniga; stepdaughters, Cheryl Hillengas and Wendy Hancock; sons, Ernest Hurley and Adam Hurley; adopted son, Isaac Hurley; sisters, Mary Kuczynski and Deborah Strickland; brothers, Roy Strickland and Charles Strickland; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Annette was preceded in death by her husband, James 'Craig' Lancaster, and her sister, Nancy Strickland.
