Barbara Jean Gillaspy, 63, Jennings, FL passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. The Greencastle, Indiana born native moved to Jennings three years ago from Eastpoint, Florida after moving there from Poland, Indiana. Mrs. Gillaspy worked as an Optometrist Technician, Occupational Therapist, and as a Quality Control Manager for World Arts, Inc. She loved stained glass work, gardening, which she had a green thumb for; her dogs and to travel; she was also involved  in the Humane Society of Indiana and Florida.

Mrs. Gillaspy is survived by her husband of forty-three years: Philip Gillaspy; her father: Samuel Paul Oberholtzer; three sisters: Vicki Strouse (Marvin), Cynthia Lovett, Paula Wood (Shawn); one  brother: Dennis Oberholtzer (Kelly); several nieces and nephews.
