Barbara Jean Hart Pellow, aged 88, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on Sunday, December 1st, 2024. She spent most of her life in Live Oak and was a cherished member of Clayland Baptist Church. Barbara had a passion for gardening, fishing, and crocheting, and she took great joy in teaching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren how to fish. Known affectionately as 'Aunt Toad,' she was full of life and a devoted fan of Elvis.

Barbara is survived by her three sons: Jesse N. Griffin, Sr. of Live Oak, FL, Daniel T. Griffin of Douglas, GA, and Walter E. Griffin of Douglas, GA; her sister, Dot Hill of Hatchbend, FL; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jessie B. & Ruby Elizabeth Hart; her daughter, Pamela K. Sousa; her sister, Betty Thurman; and her two brothers, Colin Hart and Bo Hart.

One of her favorite things to always say was "I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck."

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th at Clayland Baptist Church at 10:00 am, followed by services at 11:00 am officiated by Rev. Bill Lowhan. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
