Barbara A. Johnston, 65, Ft. White, FL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 25, 2022. The O'Brien, FL-born native moved to Fort White twenty-three plus years ago from Georgia where she worked at the Sears and Roebuck Store in Ga, she was of the Pentecostal faith and worked for Lewis Walker Roofing for twenty years. She loved to watch birds, to fish, to take care of others, make everyone feel special, and loved to Christmas shop for her babies. She is survived by her daughters: Gwendolyn Brenton Lam (Frank), Jordan Broke Johnston; sister: Judy Ziegler; brothers: Daniel Douglas, Donald Ray Bass; five grandchildren: Cameron Lam (Robyn Miller), Brandon Lam (Julie Lam), Autumn Lam (Cody Chester), Joseph Johnston White, Baylee Johnston Drake; two great-grandchildren: Kyle Lam and Benjamin Lam. She was preceded in death by her parents: Leon Earline Bass & Maggie Douglas Bass; brothers: Leon Earl "Buddy" Bass, Lavon Tripp, and sister: Alicia Darlene White.
