Bart Wilson, aged 78, of McAlpin, FL, passed away on March 6, 2026. He moved to McAlpin in 1978 from Dunedin, FL, and was the owner and operator of Wilson Farm, where he raised chickens. Bart was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Wellborn, FL.

He is survived by his son, L. Bart Wilson, III of McAlpin, FL; his sisters, Miriam Dempsey of Quarryville, PA, and Wanda Pierce of North East, MD; his brother, Dennis Wilson and his wife Maureen of Hernando, FL. Bart was also a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Rebekah Bell and her husband Joshua of Live Oak, FL, Deborah Quater and her husband Anthony of Kalispell, Montana, Jennah Lumpkin and her husband Matthew of Zachary, LA, Sarah Tuemler and her husband Seth of Hurricane, WV, and JoAnnah Wilson of McAlpin, FL. He leaves behind six great-grandchildren: Lydia, Adam, Madeline, Anna, Rosemary, and Cooper.

Bart was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Ann Stine-Wilson, and his daughter, Rhonda Lynn Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 16th at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, with Rev. Lewis Gooch officiating. Interment will follow in the Wilson Family Haven of Rest Cemetery.
