Bessie Pearl Parnell, 87, Live Oak, FL passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022. The Nocatee, FL born-native lived most of her life in Live Oak and was a lifelong member of Antioch Baptist Church. Mrs. Parnell was a member of the Live Oak Garden Club and was the owner-operator of Parnell Florist for twelve years. She loved to sew, work in her yard, and raise chickens and exotic birds. Mrs. Parnell is survived by her son: James Parnell (Debbie), Live Oak; sister: Roydell Hughes, Bradenton, FL; brother: Clen Westberry (Connie), Live Oak; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband: L.F. Parnell; her daughter: Carol Cline and her sister: Wilma Jean Tessier. Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 27th at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. David McKeithen officiating. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
