Betty Jean Bell, 86, of Day, FL passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, in Lafayette Health Care, Mayo, Fl.  Betty Jean was a devoted wife and mother who was predeceased by her husband, John Henry Bell.  Employed by Suwanee Valley Electric for 29 years, Betty Jean grew up attending the Alton Church of God and later became a member of Brewer Lake Baptist Church in Day, Fl.

Betty Jean is survived by two sons, John Timothy Bell of Day, Fl. and Patrick Edward Bell (Elizabeth) of Havana, Fl.; one sister, Joan Murray, Waycross. Ga.; two grandsons, Timothy David Bell and John Patrick Bell (Lily); and three great-grandsons, Mason Patrick Bell, John Davis Bell and William Clayton Bell.

Betty Jean was an avid gardener and cook.  She loved to crochet and enjoyed decorating for the holidays and hosting special events. She was often busy planning baby and wedding showers and loved helping make the important events in the lives of others joyful.

Her services will be held on Thursday, December 12th at Brewer Lake Baptist Church with the visitation beginning at 10:00 am and the service following at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in Day Cemetery.
