Bettye Skinner McIntosh, 94, Live Oak, FL passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. The Savannah, GA native lived most of her life in Live Oak. She started with the City of Live Oak as a secretary in 1959, then retired as a city clerk in 1983. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Live Oak.

Mrs. McIntosh is survived by her sons: Russell Stapleton (Joyce), Lago Vista, TX, Keith Stapleton (Patty), Jacksonville, FL, and Greg Stapleton (Nancy), Lake City, FL; 8 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; Brother-in-law: Edward McIntosh (Annie) and Sister-in-law: Sarah Skinner. She was preceded in death by her husband: James A. McIntosh; Sister: Virginia Miller; Brother: Henry Earl Skinner.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 17, 2022, at the Daniels Memorial Chapel, Live Oak with Rev. Phillip Herrington officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service at the chapel from 10:30-11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Live Oak Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First Baptist Church Library Fund or the food ministry.
