Bonnie June Barnett, 89, O'Brien, FL passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024, she was born on June 18, 1935 and was one of thirteen children. The Lexington, AL born native moved to O'Brien from Eagle Lake, FL sixty years ago and was a member of O'Brien Baptist Church. Her hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening and she especially enjoyed shelling peas. She played softball when she was younger , loved caring for her grandchildren and helped raise them.  She is safe in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

Mrs. Barnett is survived by her daughter: Sheila Dean (Leonard); her son: James Lewis "Jimmy" Barnett, Jr. (Alberta); two brothers: Bud Durham, Richard Durham; grandchildren: Bonnie, Ricky, Brandy, Tom, Durrell, Whit, Sylvia, Brian, Stephen, Michael, Kevin, Kady; great-grandchildren: J.D., Martina, Cody, Nikki, Nate, Amber, James, Kylie, Easton, Canaan, Josh, Justin,Garrett,Courtney, Kimberly, Dallas, Nathaniel, Nathan, Abbie, Sam,  Sarah and 12 great, great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband: James Lewis Barnett; two daughters: Deborah Martin and Ada Corbin.

A memorial service for Bonnie will be held at O'Brien Baptist Church at 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 29th.
