Bradley A. Kibbe, II, 52, Live Oak, FL passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024. The Sutton, MA native moved to Live Oak in 2021 from St. Cloud, FL and worked as a Senior Manager, Workforce Development for NCCER in Alachua.

Brad is survived by his wife: Stacey Kibbe, Live Oak, FL; parents: Brad & Brenda Kibbe, Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter: Hayley Gabriel (Jeremy), St. Cloud, FL; two sons: Bradley A. Kibbe, III, St. Cloud, FL, Kevin Kibbe, St. Cloud, FL; brother: Brandon Kibbe (Jenn), Lunenburg, MA; one grandchild: Leon Gabriel and niece: Emma Kibbe. He also leaves behind many loving in-laws, aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues.

First and foremost, Brad was a loving father to his children and husband to his wife Stacey. His devotion to his family grew earlier this year when his daughter Hayley and her husband, Jeremy, welcomed his first grandson, Leon, to the world. The life that he and Stacey were building together included a beautiful tract of land and lovingly restored home in Live Oak, where their plans for a simple and humble life were just beginning to unfold.

He was a passionate educator who cared deeply about developing young craft professionals. Born from his own history of vocational education that initially led to a career as a talented carpenter, Brad knew that traditional education only served a segment of our youth, which in turn only served a segment of our community. He believed to his core that education and career paths that led to developing skilled tradespeople was a way to lift up our communities by providing dignified work and meaningful careers around which families could be built and sustained. He dedicated most of his professional life to advancing this cause, and he was among its best advocates.

To honor his memory, NCCER is establishing the Brad Kibbe Education Fund that will be used to start new high school careers and technical education programs. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Brad Kibbe Education Fund.
