Brenda Sue Trodglen Carroll, 74, of Live Oak, FL passed away after a short illness. Brenda was born in Owensboro, KY to Late Wilma & Joseph Trodglen on December 21, 1950. The Family moved to Opa-Locka, FL when Brenda was a young child. In 1972, Brenda met and married the love of her life, Franklin Carroll and moved to Live Oak, FL where they lived for the rest of their lives. Their son, Joey was born in 1973. Joey had special needs and Brenda spent the next 42 years lovingly caring for him. Brenda loved her Lord and enjoyed going to church. She also loved going on adventures with Andy & Shellie Carroll and Tom & Dianna Jones. Brenda is survived by her brother Ralph Gleason, in laws. Sharon Arnold, Emma Sue and Doug Beck, Andy & Shellie Carroll, Valerie Carroll, Tom Jones, Greg Brown and a host of nieces and nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Carroll, son, Joey Carroll, parents, Wilma & Joseph Trodglen, sisters, Dianna Jones, Rhonda Brown, parents in law, Calvin & Fronia Carroll, nephew, Charlie Carroll, brother-in-law, Dean Carroll, and niece Stephanie Pope. A celebration of life will be held on August 16th at 11:00 am at Mary Belle Baptist Church where Brenda was a member. Burial will take place at Mary Belle Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to your choice of Cancer Research at Kayyow or ARC- Live Oak Chapter, 511 Goldkist Blvd, Live Oak, FL 32064.
