Charles "Buddy" Davenport, aged 83, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, in Branford, FL. Born in Mufreesboro, TN, Buddy moved to Branford in 1992 from Hollywood, FL. He was a man of Christian faith who cherished a quiet life at home, spending time with his beloved grandchildren and enjoying the classic show Gunsmoke.

Buddy honorably served his country as a Vietnam Veteran in the Army, where he was awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery.

He is survived by his loving partner, Bonnie Marshall; his son, Charles "Little Buddy" Davenport; his daughters, Annie Lamb and Tracy Felty-Janosh; his brother, Joe Davenport; and his cherished grandchildren, Amanda, Sondra, Justin, Brandon, Keiron, Kiara, Duane, and Dale, along with numerous great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends.

Buddy was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Hearn; his sisters, Margaret, Louise, and Peggy; his brothers, Norman, Gene, Murfee, Ray, and Terry; and his grandchild, Chelsea.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 20th at Daniels Memorial Chapel in Branford, followed by a service at 12:00 pm. Buddy will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his unwavering faith.
