Charles Henry "Chuck" Allen was the third son of Charles & Marthe born on October 2, 1951, at Fort Sam Houstin in San Antonio, TX. Charles and his two older brothers, Elwood and Vern, got to experience living in so many places while their father was stationed in the Air Force. He often remembered living in France which was his mother's native country as well as Panama City and Colorado Springs.

In 1965, after his father's retirement, they moved to Brooksville, FL. Charles entered high school then and ultimately met & married the love of his life, Donna on January 24, 1970. He loved to tell people about working at Weeki Wachee alongside Donna, the mermaid.

Many jobs and moves followed to better their lives as he continued his studies. While they owned a Florist in Spring Hill, FL their son James was born in 1977, their daughter, Jessica followed in 1981.

Charles moved the family to Gainesville to finish his studies at UF with a degree in Business Administration. He was in banking for a bit, but eventually found his role as a Real Estate Appraiser, which he continued for the rest of his career.

His last job brought him to Suwannee County where he was the Property Appraiser for Suwannee River Water Management.

He loved God and his family and would often tell Donna how blessed and thankful he was for a good life he was given.

He enjoyed being outdoors and staying active and checking out new places to explore.

He leaves behind wife Donna, children James and wife Anna, Jessica and husband Chris, grandchildren, Tessa, Tegan, Ryan, Nathan, and Emily. Also, his brother, Vern and his wife Leslie, many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

There will be a visitation held at 10:00 am Monday, November 11th at Pinemount Baptist Church with the service following at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in Magnolia Cemetery in Lecanto, FL.
