Christopher "Chris" A. Poore, a lifelong resident of Live Oak, FL, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Born on December 24, 1966, Chris was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a Diesel Specialist at Pilgrim's Pride Poultry for thirty-three years.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Barbara Ann Poore of Live Oak, FL; his daughters, Meagan Poore of Valdosta, GA, and Chrissy Phillips of Lake City, FL; his sons, Christopher M. Poore (Margaret) of Valdosta, GA, Chandler Poore of Valdosta, GA, and Joey Phillips (Crystal) of Live Oak, FL. He also leaves behind his sister, Lynette White of Ohio, and eight grandchildren: Kimber, Logan, Oliver, Emery, Carter, Archer, Kennedy, and Avery.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 6th at Daniels Memorial Chapel, followed by a service at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Live Oak Cemetery.
