Christopher A. Sumner, 54 of McAlpin, Florida passed away September 17, 2022, after a long fight with Muscular Dystrophy. He was a lifelong resident of McAlpin. Christopher loved the Lord, his family, American War History, traveling, Rock & Roll, and the Miami Hurricanes. He had the best sense of humor, was quick-witted, and was a great storyteller. Prior to the onset of his disease, Christopher enjoyed singing in a Rock & Roll band and coaching little league sports.

Christopher was preceded in death by his Mother Linda Davis, Brother Phillip Sumner, and Sister Glynis Branche. He is survived by his Father Ronald Sumner, Sister Ronna Williams, Brother-in-laws Timmy Williams & Bubba Branche, Sister-in-law Wynette Sumner, 1 niece, 1 niece-in-law, 5 nephews, and 3 great-nephews.

Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 24th at Pinemount Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Sexton officiating and a visitation beginning at 10:30 am prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
