Clarence Simpson Feagle, Jr.   Age 90, a Gold Star Recipient, Born:  March 28, 1933 in Lake City, Florida and Died:   August 30, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents: Mother: Lois Annie Williams Davis Feagle of Lake City, FL; Father: Clarence Simpson Feagle, Sr. of Lake City FL, who was killed at the Battle of the Bulge during WW2 and is buried at Espinal American Cemetery in Epinal, Vosges, France. He received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star; Second wife, Ormon Meeks Aderholt Feagle.

Mr. Feagle is survived by his wife Carol Patterson Davis Feagle and mother of his stepson Bennett L. Davis, M.D. Colorado Springs, CO; His first wife and mother of his children: Geneva Cox Feagle; His children: Clarence Linnis Feagle (Lori Brooks Feagle) Auburndale, FL, Lucinda Feagle, Georgia, La Ticia Feagle Nix (Ron) Eastpoint, FL, LaShaun Feagle Perry, Lake City, FL; His sister Marion Davis Hines of Lake City, FL; Twelve grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Clarence grew up in Lake City, Florida. At the young age of 12, he lost his father during World War II. Following his graduation from Columbia High School, Clarence joined the Air Force during the Korean War years and served as a flight mechanic. He worked for the Sperry Corporation and AT&T. He retired from AT&T and settled on his farm in North Gilchrist County. Clarence loved the outdoors and wildlife. He loved the world, and he loved his country.

Throughout his adult life, Clarence was involved with his local government and contributed much time to his community. He was instrumental in building the Gilchrist County Volunteer Fire Station on State Road 138 in Gilchrist County. He was involved with the Florida Masonic Lodge F&AM in which he was a state Grand Officer under Hayward Stuckey.  He held many offices and committees with the Grand Lodge and Branford Lodge 130 F&AM. He enjoyed his work with the Scottish Rite Valley of Jacksonville and Morocco Shriners, Shriners International. He was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star and achieved the distinguished honor of being elected Worthy Grand Patron of the State of Florida. He was a member of Branford Chapter No. 112, Order of the Eastern Star and a member of High Springs Chapter No. 105. He had received Honorary Memberships from all Chapters in the State of Florida and most other national jurisdictions.

Clarence was a most loving and giving soul. He was passionate about his beliefs and interests. The depth of his love for his children and all of his family had no end.

Funeral services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lake City, FL. with Masonic Rites and Military honors. Clarence will be interred at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church cemetery.
