Connie Frances Mickler, 77, of Live Oak, FL passed away peacefully at her home on May 8, 2026.

Connie was born on February 10, 1949, to the late Ora Bell (Odom) and Oscar Mills. She grew up in Jasper, FL and graduated from Hamilton County High School.  She married Merlin "Bum" Mickler on February 6, 1971, and in time, had four children.

Connie was a woman who dreamed of and carried many children though she only got to raise two. She cherished being a Mama and shared that love with every child she met. Probably one of her most memorable sayings was, "I will kiss that baby's cheeks right off."  Presently, she is getting to love on Angela Nicole and Anita Suzette who have been waiting in heaven for her since 1972.

Connie will be remembered for her boundless love, unwavering Faith in her Lord and her unfiltered honesty. Those who knew her will be longing for that tender "Mama hug" given to anyone who needed it. She loved to grow flowers, but what she loved most was nurturing any child with whom she came in contact. She is now walking the streets of gold with her "Bum" in Heaven.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Buck and Charles; her sisters, Bea, Gloria and Dottie; her loving husband and her daughters, Angela and Anita.

Connie leaves behind her sister, Shirley Braddock (RC); her children, Dandi Robillard (Mat) and Sara Benson (Chris); her stepchildren, Bonnie Mickler and Merlin Mickler; her grandchildren, Addison Robillard, Austyn Robillard (Brooke), Eric Benson, Heather Benson (Connor), Emily Mickler, Hayden Benson, Merlin Mickler III, Matthew Mickler and many great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at Daniels Funeral Home in Live Oak, FL on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10:00 am with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 am.  A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL at 3:30 pm.
