Connie J. Sasser, 67, Live Oak, FL passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. The Jacksonville, FL born native was a lifelong resident of Live Oak and a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. Mrs. Sasser worked at Gold Kist for twelve years as a Q. A. Inspector and was a community member for Love Inc. in Live Oak. She taught Sunday School, was involved in the youth program, and was a Representative for Mt. Gilead Baptist Church at the Southern Baptist Convention.

Mrs. Sasser is survived by her husband of thirty-six years: David Sasser, Live Oak; daughter: Paige Moody (Travis), Live Oak; son: Christopher Rhude (Cory), Lake City; sister: Sheila Fox (Charles), Live Oak; two grandchildren: Chase Rhude and Callen Rhude.

Services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, September 23rd at Daniels Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wilbur Wood officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will take place in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery.
