Cyndi Romero

Cyndi Romero, 63, of Live Oak, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026.

A lifelong resident of Live Oak, Cyndi was a member of Rocky Sink Baptist Church. She dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked for Suwannee County EMS for ten years before becoming a Registered Nurse. During her nursing career, she was a flight nurse then served as Director of Nursing in Perry, Florida, and also worked at Dr. Romero’s Family Practice and Haven Hospice in Lake City.

Cyndi will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Eduardo G. Romero of Live Oak; her son, Matthew St. John of Fort White; her sister, Debbie Mercer of Live Oak; and her three brothers, Wayne “Buddy” Bell of Live Oak, Johnny Bell of Alachua, and Jimmy Bell of Live Oak, Florida.

Cyndi will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her compassion for others, and the many lives she touched throughout her years of caring for others.

A Celebration of Life will be held at First Advent Christian Church, 699 Pinewood Drive, Live Oak at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 12th.
