Daisy Schoonover, aged 98, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026. She was of Protestant faith and was known for her love of sewing, quilting, yardwork, flowers, crocheting, knitting, and reading books. Daisy owned and operated Schoonover's Costume Rental, where she dedicated much of her time and passion.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chester William Schoonover, her daughter, Rexa Lee Banks, and her son, Gary W. Schoonover. Daisy is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Hartzog and her husband Royce, and Tina Colvin and her husband Gary; her son-in-law, Clifford Banks; her sister, Kathy Kyte; her brother, Charles Ely; and her grandchildren, Tammy Greenwood, Deanna Hatcher, Kevin Nielson, Jason Colvin, Jennifer Starling, Jimmy Reynolds, Dusty Banks, and Brandy Rashad. She also leaves behind twenty-five great-grandchildren, thirty great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild.
