Daniel R. "Dan" Murray, aged 84, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on July 8, 2026. Born on April 14, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland, Dan spent most of his life in Live Oak, where he was the owner and operator of Murray Heat & Air since 1968. He was a devoted member of the Live Oak Church of God.

Dan is survived by his children: Mike Murray, Greg (Tammy) Murray, Danny Murray, Terry (Kristi) Murray, Tina Strickland, Sissy (Robert) Dees, Yogi Lane, Darren (Denise) Lane, and Chris Lane. He is also survived by his siblings, James Murray and Mary Roberson, as well as nineteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Murray, his son, Tony Lane, his parents, Lily and Mike Murray, and his brothers, Joe Murray and Buzz Murray.

A visitation will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, July 14th at the Live Oak Church of God, followed by a service at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Live Oak Cemetery.
