Danielle Ann Alford, age 49, of Mayo, Florida, passed away on December 29, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida.

Danielle was born on September 2, 1976, in Pensacola, Florida, to Katrin Junita Fisher (now Katy Singletary) and Clinton Van Walker. She grew up in Live Oak, Florida, where she graduated from Suwannee High School in 1995. Later in life, she pursued her calling in education and earned an Associate of Arts degree in teaching, reflecting her lifelong love for children and service.

Danielle was the beloved wife of Mike Alford and a fiercely devoted mother to her five children: Joshua Michael Thomas, Heather Ann Register (husband Will), Kaleigh Joy Rodgers, Kaleb Jeremiah Rodgers, and Kolin Jace Lee. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she was deeply protective, loyal, and endlessly loving toward her children. She was also a proud grandmother to Riylee Snider and Zackary Snider, affectionately known to them as "GG" - their Glamorous Grandma.

She is survived by her mother, Katy Singletary (husband Don); her father, Clinton Van Walker (wife Donna); her twin sister, Michelle Walker Harrison (husband Jay); her brother, Jeremy Walker (wife Abby); her husband Mike Alford, children, grandchildren, and many extended family members and dear friends.

Danielle worked as a Service Advisor at Roundtree Ford, where she was known for her dependability, kindness, and willingness to help others. She had a servant's heart and carried that same dedication into her church life. Danielle attended Journey Church in Mayo, where she faithfully taught children and women, served in children's church, AWANA programs, and shared her love for Christ through teaching and songs.
A woman of faith, Danielle believed wholeheartedly in God and His salvation. Her walk with Christ guided every part of her life. She often drew strength from Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Her favorite songs, "Via Dolorosa" and "By the Way of the Cross," reflected both her faith and her testimony.

Danielle was known for her kind spirit, her generosity, and her ability to make others feel loved and supported. She delighted in spending time with family, shopping and gift-giving, crafting, caring for her chickens & quail, singing, and celebrating Christmas - which she loved in all its beauty, sparkle, and joy. She liked everything big and blingy, and her life reflected that same vibrant love.

Above all else, Danielle will be remembered for how deeply she loved her family and for the unwavering faith that sustained her through every season of life. Her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched with her kindness and devotion.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 12:00 noon, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church (14364 140th St; Live Oak, FL 32060). The service will be officiated by Pastor Marshal Faulkenberry of Friendship Baptist Church and Pastor Alan Harmon of Journey Church. Burial will follow at Beulah Church (20383 144th St; Live Oak, FL 32060), with a meal afterward back at Friendship Baptist Church.
