David E. Ledford, 82, of Live Oak, FL passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023, in his residence after a lengthy illness. The Danville, KY native moved to Live Oak 40 years ago from Tampa, FL. He was the owner/operator of Ledford's Plastering, Drywall, and Studs Construction in both Tampa and Live Oak for 20 plus years, the Garden Spot Produce, Live Oak for 2 years, and attended the Orange Baptist Church.  Mr. Ledford is survived by his loving wife of 60 years: JoAnn, Live Oak, FL; Daughters: Patty, Ohio, Barbara (Greg), New Port Richie, FL and Sandra, Seffner, FL; Sons: Roger (Stacey), Hudson, FL, William, Zephyrhills, FL, Richard (Anita), Tarpon Springs, FL, and John (Melinda), Live Oak, FL; Sisters: Sharon, Barboursville, KY and Kathy (Willie), Barboursville, KY; Brothers: Jerry (Jane), Corbin, KY, Jimmy (Joanne), Akron, OH, and Wayne (Charlotte), Akron, OH; Daughter-in-law: Barbara, Ohio; 17 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son: David, Jr; Sister: Joyce; Brothers: Jimmy and Eddy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, January 12, 2023, in the Daniels Memorial Chapel with Mr. Wayne Dennis officiating. Interment will follow in the Orange Baptist Cemetery, Live Oak. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time.
