David Wayne Strickland, 68, Branford, FL passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022. David moved to Branford seven years ago from Lithia, FL, served in the Navy for six years and worked at Goodyear for twenty years. He loved spending time with his family and he loved fishing. David is survived by his father: J.W. Strickland; daughters: Daphney Cromie (Christopher), Lithia, FL, Stashia Strickland, Plant City, FL, Erica Strickland -Childers (Shaun), Branford, FL, Sharlee Hobbs (Josh), Altomon, TN; sister: Theresa Allen, Parrish, FL; brother: Steve Strickland (Linda), O'Brien, FL; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother: Shelby Nobles and two grandchildren. Services will be set at a later date.
