Denise Minatree, 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, resting comfortably after a long and courageous battle with her health.

Born on May 31st, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, Denise lived a life defined by love, strength, and unwavering compassion. She was a woman whose warmth could be felt instantly and whose kindness left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Denise had a rare and beautiful ability to always see the good in people and the positive in any situation. She consistently placed the needs of others before her own, offering love, support, and understanding without hesitation.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. Nothing meant more to Denise than the people she loved, and she especially cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Denise was the embodiment of strength. Throughout her life, she bravely fought pancreatic cancer, thyroid cancer, and breast cancer with a resilience and determination that inspired everyone around her. She was, without question, one of the strongest fighters and most remarkable individuals anyone could ever meet. Her presence brought light to every room, and her spirit will continue to shine through those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father Ramon Hansen and her granddaughter Shyann Cash.

She is survived by her loving children:Kevin Minatree, Bobby Minatree and his wife Lindsay, John Minatree Jr and his wife Victoria, Lisa Cash and her husband Chad. Her cherished grandchildren: Taylor Minatree, Jaxson Minatree, Berkley Minatree, Lucy Minatree, Damian Minatree, Alexia Cash, Abigail Cash, Olivia Minatree, Elizabeth Minatree, Nevaeh Tewalt and Hailey Tindall, great granddaughter: Blakelynn Minatree, mother: Laura Hansen, siblings: Cheryl and Michael Sullivan , Darren and Amanda Hansen, David and Kristina Hansen, Kieth and Jennifer Hansen, and Ramona Hansen. Denise also leaves behind countless cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends — many of whom she loved as family.

Denise will be remembered for her boundless love, her incredible strength, and the light she brought into the lives of others. Though deeply missed, her love and spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched.

A celebration of life will be held at Wellborn Baptist Church on Saturday, February 21st at 4:00pm at Wellborn Baptist Church, 4146 Lowe Lake Road, Wellborn, Florida, 32094.
