Dolline West Hinchcliff, age 88, adoring wife of 37 years and mother of four passed away peacefully at her home on August 23, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Dolline was born on January 21, 1934, in Day, FL to Noah and Hannah West. She attended Day Jr./Sr. High School where she graduated Valedictorian. She then attended Lafayette High School where she graduate Salutatorian, She shared her childhood years with three brothers and one sister. While living in Day, she was employed by Mcroy's Five and Dime before working at Suwannee Valley Electric Co-Op as a Billing Clerk. Dolline then moved to Ft. Pierce, FL where she would go on to marry her husband Charles Patrick Hinchcliff in 1959. She then found her career with The State of Florida from 1966 to 1996 before retiring. Dolline and Charles share four children, four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Dolline was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was devoted to her family. When her husband passed in 1996, Dolline moved back to the Day area to enjoy her retirement years. She loved to visit the Smokey Mountains, Dolly Wood, spending time with family. Dolline was a member of Brewer Lake Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and studying the Word of God along with Bible word searches. She is preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Hannah West, husband, Charles P. Hinchcliff, son, Brian P. Hinchcliff, sister, Maybelline W. Thomas, and her brothers, Homer L. West, Grover L. West, and James W. West. She is survived by her children: Charles M. Hinchcliff (Eileen), Valerie Osborn, Janet Hinchcliff; four grandchildren: Jennifer Warren, Laura Brookshire, Charlotte Bennett, Jeffrey Osborn; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Graveside services will be held at 9 am Friday, August 26th at Day Cemetery.
