Dorris Kight Chauncey, 88, Live Oak, FL passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. She was a lifelong resident of Live Oak, worked for Suwannee County School System for twenty-two years, was a member of Pinelevel Missionary Baptist Church and she also loved gardening, flowers and vegetables.

Mrs. Chauncey is survived by her daughter: Joan Bonita Chauncey, Live Oak; sons: Raymond L. Chauncey, III (Millie), Live Oak, Clifford Michael Chauncey (Debbie), Wellborn; foster-son: Walter Thomas "Trey" Leigh, III, San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Raymond Chauncey, II and grandson: Jack McCullers Cross, III.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 6th at Pinelevel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lester Curry and Rev. Carl Chauncey officiating. There will be a visitation held prior to the service at 10:00 am. Interment will be held at Rocky Sink Baptist Church Cemetery.
