Earnest E. Dees, a lifelong resident of Hatchbend, FL, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran, having served in the Army from 1966 to 1974. Earnest was a devoted member of the Walker Creek-Bethel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his beloved wife of fourteen years, Irene Dees of Hatchbend, FL. He also leaves behind his sisters, Lavinia Dees, Tressie Lambert, and Mary Lambert, along with twelve children, numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many close friends and relatives.

Earnest was preceded in death by his sisters, R.V. Stephens and Opal Zimmerman, his brother, Frank Dees, and his daughter, Dena Marriott.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 31st at Old Hatchbend Cemetery, with Rev. Bob Moore officiating.
