James E. "Eddy" Moore, Sr., 71, McAlpin, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. The lifelong resident of McAlpin was born in Boone, NC and was a member of Pinemount Baptist Church. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of forty-six years: Barbara Moore, McAlpin, FL; two sons: James E. Moore, Jr. (Beverly) Branford, FL , James C. Moore (Mike), Orlando, FL; sisters; Selena McCook (Cookie), Live Oak, FL, Mary-Etta Howell, Live Oak, FL, Paula Gail Beech (David), Deland, FL, Delilah Smith, Mayo, FL ; brothers: Freddy Moore (Kim), McAlpin, FL, Paul Garrison, Jr. (Lisa), McAlpin, FL, Dave Shiplet (Jenny), Kathleen, GA; two grandchildren: Dillon Moore, Branford, FL  Savannah Moore, Orlando, FL and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 3rd at Daniels Memorial Chapel with Rev. Arthur Bryant officiating with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
