Edna Bell Howell Douglass, 96, of Branford, FL passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Mrs. Edna was born and raised in the Hatchbend/Branford area. She was a devoted homemaker, helped on the family farm, loved to cook, loved making quilts, and was a former member of the Branford Women's Club. Mrs. Edna was also a member of Branford Presbyterian Church.

She is preceded in death by her first husband: Everett Howell; second husband: Leonard Douglass; daughter: Gretchen Howell Boyd; sister: Katie Bush; brothers: Robert 'Bob' Bell, Elmer Bell.

She is survived by her son: Dennis Howell (Paula); son-in-law: Andrew 'Andy' Boyd; grandchildren: Bryan Deck (Daphne), Leon Howell, Richard Howell (Amber), William Strickland (Nicole), Stacie Williams (Austin); great-grandchildren: Xavier Deck, Isaiah Deck, Aaron Howell, Liam Howell, Payton Howell, Preston Strickland, Mason Williams, Maddie Williams, Ashley Richardson, Brandon Richardson; great-great-grandchild: Ronin Riley; special nieces: Janet Kelley, Angie Croy, Katrina O'Steen; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

There will be a service to honor her life and faith at 2pm, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Branford Presbyterian Church, Branford, FL. A visitation will be held for the friends and family from 1-2pm prior to the service at the church.
