Edward "Eddie" A. Bourgeois, 89, Live Oak, FL, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022. Mr. Bourgeois was born in Marlborough, MA, was of the Catholic faith and served in the United States Navy as a Seaman during the Korean War from September 1952 through July 1954. Following his service with the Navy, he worked as a television repairman and later as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in Hollywood, FL.

Adored by his five grandchildren, and lovingly called "Pawpaw," Eddie will be remembered for his sense of humor, warm disposition, and calming presence. Eddie thrived on keeping himself busy, from creating vibrant stained glass art and decorating for the holidays to tending to his lawn and playing golf. He was a family man devoted to his wife, son, and grandchildren.

Mr. Bourgeois is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jackie Bourgeois; son, Paul and his wife Judy Bourgeois; sisters, Lucille Williams and Faynel Gregoire; and five grandchildren, Nathanael, Hannah, Noah, Jonathan, and Zachary. He was preceded in death by his brother Vernon. Mr. Bourgeois' funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
