Elizabeth A. McIntosh, 85, of Alachua, FL passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, after a brief illness. Elizabeth was born on December 17, 1937, in Gainesville, FL to the late Ivy J. & Alma Wooley Hunter. She worked several different jobs in her lifetime but was best known as a baker in the Alachua County schools. She loved spending time with her family, watching westerns, and cooking for others. Mrs. McIntosh was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother that poured her love into others.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard F. McIntosh, Sr., and son: Randy Butler.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter: Ann Baird; sons: Richard F. McIntosh, Jr., John McIntosh, Mike McIntosh (Fadra), and Travis McIntosh (Leticia); sisters: Jeanie Dougherty, and Earline DiSalvo; brother: Larry Bland; grandchildren: Corey, Crystal, Summer, David, Trey, Simonne, Gabrielle, Michael, Jr., T.J., and Hunter; ten great-grandchildren; her special pet 'Buddy' and numerous other extended family and friends.

There will a funeral service to celebrate Elizabeth's life at 11 am Friday, February 10, 2023, at Beulah Baptist Church. A visitation will be held from 10 -11 am before the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
