Elmer Marvin Bell, 88 of Old Town passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024, after a long illness. Born on April 17, 1935, in Lafayette County to the late Tom & Martha Bell. He was a graduate of Lafayette High School, worked & supervised construction. After retiring he owned & operated a lawn care business. He was an active member of McCalls Chapel, loved to hunt, fish, watch Gator games, and loved to go eat mullet and swamp cabbage with family and friends.

Elmer is survived by his sister: Edna Howell Douglass; niece: Katrina Bell O'Steen (Whitey); nephews: Dennis Howell (Paula), Andy Boyd; companion of fifteen years: Jean White; caregiver and best friend: Joe Durham (Lynn); a lot of cousins and friends.
Services will be at McCall's Chapel on Friday, January 12, 2024, with Rev. James Howes officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 pm with services following.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to McCalls Chapel.
