Elvin Stanley Carver, 83 of Lake City, Fl. Passed away on May 6, 2026, at Lake City Health & Rehab. He was born on March 18, 1943, in Dunedin, Florida, and was raised in Bell, Florida. He graduated from Bell High School in 1961.

Elvin was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years, Marlene Silver Carver of Lake City, Florida; his parents, Elvin Vinson "L.V." Carver and Grace Kelly Carver; and his sister, Faye Smith all from Branford, Florida; His Son-in-law Jamie Amick of Chapin, South Carolina. He is survived by his children: Lisa McDonald (William) of Travelers Rest, South Carolina; Charlotte Amick of Chapin, South Carolina; Melanie North (Emy) of Wellborn, Florida; and Vince Carver of Lake City, Florida. He is also survived by his sister, Ann Thornton of Branford, Florida; his brother, Wayne Carver of Branford, Florida; and his aunt, Pauline Davis of Dunedin, Florida.

Elvin was a proud grandfather to Matthew McDonald (Robin), Dalton Amick (Chantel), Jesse Hill, Gracie Still (Cody), Nikolas North, Jakob North, and Cole Carver. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Gracelynn, Kollyns, Bexleigh, Raelee, Cole, and Kaleb.

In his younger years, Elvin enjoyed farming, cropping tobacco, and showing steers at the county fair. He spent 24 years working for Coca- Cola Bottling Company in Lake City and another 20 years at Anderson Mining/SAC in Branford. Elvin loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing on his tractor, woodworking, tending to his chickens, and spending time with his dogs, whom he loved dearly.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Bell Florida.
