Frances Virginia Sperring, age 91, passed away May 2, 2022, at her home in Live Oak, Florida following a brief illness.

A native of Suwannee County, after graduating from Suwannee High School she went to work at North Florida Telephone Company (presently Windstream), where she retired after 42 years. Miss Sperring was a member of First Baptist Church of Live Oak for many years. Frances loved spending time with family, especially with her sister Betty on the Itchetuckney River, where they often entertained brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Evie (Platt) Sperring; brothers David Sperring, Lewis Sperring, Charles Sperring, Ollen Sperring, and Thomas Sperring; sister, Dorothy Neeper.

She is survived by one brother, Reginald "Bo" Sperring, Live Oak, FL; sisters Ellen Cooke, Tampa, FL, and Betty Chester, Live Oak, FL; sister-in-law Shirley Sperring, Live Oak, FL, and Phyllis Sperring, Gainesville, FL; along with generations of nieces and nephews.

Burial services will be held at the Live Oak Cemetery on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 3 pm.
