Gary Lynn "Mug" Carter, 66, of O'Brien, FL passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023. The Logan County, West Virginia native moved to O'Brien, FL 9 years ago from North Carolina. He was a long-haul truck driver for 25 years and of the Baptist Faith.

Mr. Carter is survived by his Nephew: Jason Edward Paul, O'Brien; Sisters: Goldie Robertson, Bartow, Oma A. Marquez Lopez, O'Brien, and Lana Cahill (Don), Naples; He was preceded in death by his parents: Loranzie D. & Macie Mae Carter: Sisters: Judith Mitchell Paul and Delores Carter; Brother: Eldered D. Carter.
