Gary L. Willis, 60, Branford, FL passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at his home in Branford. He was born to the late Randy & Jan Willis. The Columbus, Ga-born native was of the Baptist faith and worked with the Florida State Troopers for seventeen years, where he began his career in 1983. He was a member of the Florida Association of State Troopers, Police Benevolent Association, and Broken Spoke. Mr. Willis is survived by his daughter: Kerry Willis, Branford, FL; sisters: Theresa Willis, Branford, FL, Belinda Montgomery (Mike), Lake Butler, FL; brothers: Randall Willis, Yoncala, OR, Willie Willis, (Donna), Branford, FL, Jimbo Willis (Sherry), Lake City, FL, and three grandchildren: Gordon, Delylah and Jenifer also numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife: Karen Willis, which he married in 1981; his parents: Randy & Jan Willis; sister: Barbara Willis and sister-in-law: Neva Willis. Services will be held at 3 pm Friday, October 7th at Daniels Memorial Chapel in Branford with Rev. Randy Henderson officiating. There will be a visitation held prior to the service beginning at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held in Bethel Cemetery in Trenton, FL.
