Gene A. Bryant, aged 83, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on August 6, 2026. Born in Live Oak on October 19, 1942, Gene moved back to Live Oak in 2006 from Orange Park, FL. He dedicated 47 years of his career as a Safety Supervisor for Florida Rock, working in Live Oak, Fort Meyers, and Jacksonville before retiring. A devout member of Antioch Baptist Church, Gene also served as a Deacon.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Kay Bryant of Live Oak; his daughter, Debbie Bryant (John Crawford) of Fort Meyers, FL; his son, Garry Bryant (Kim) of Live Oak, FL; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Gene was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Bryant Sick; his son, Larry Bryant; and his sisters, Joan Bryant and Linda Bryant.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 12th at Antioch Baptist Church, followed by a service at 11:00 am officiated by Rev. David McKeithen. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
