George W. Lee, 84, of Live Oak, FL passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025. The Detroit, Michigan native moved to Live Oak from Hudson, Ohio.  Mr. Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as the President of the  Alltel Telecommunications Co., Live Oak. He also was a member of the Live Oak Elks Lodge, Suwannee Country Club, and the First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Lee is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Joan E. Lee, Live Oak, FL; Sons: Dale M. Lee, Bangkok, Thailand, and Greg A Lee (Christina), Lakewood, OH; Sister: Karen Koengeter, Massachusetts; Brother: Frank S. Lee (Nancy), Michigan; Grandson: Evan A. Lee, Lakewood, OH.

A Celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the First Methodist Church, Live Oak with Pastor Bill Payne officiating. There will be a visitation held prior to the service beginning at 10:30 am.
