George R. Rodriguez, 78, Live Oak, FL passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. The Holguin, Cuba born native moved to Live Oak twelve years ago from Miami, was a Vietnam Era Veteran while serving in the United States Army and was a member of St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church. He worked in the insurance industry in Miami for over thirty years, was a lifelong sports fan of all Miami teams (UM, Dolphins, Heat) and he also enjoyed fishing, boating and traveling.

Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife: Margaret A. "Pegge" Rodriguez; two sons: Eric Rodriguez (Abigail), Robert C. Rodriguez (Maria); five grandchildren: David, Alec, Luna, Emelia and Robert, Jr.

There will be a visitation held on Thursday, February 1st at Daniels Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, February 3rd at St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church.
