Gerald L. Oakley, aged 83, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on February 21, 2026. Born in Jacksonville, FL, on January 19, 1943, to the late Elmer Leroy and Beulah Mae Oakley, Gerald moved to Live Oak in 1970 from Ohio. He was of Baptist faith and dedicated 20 years of service at Occidental in White Springs before retiring. Gerald proudly served in the Army, reflecting his commitment to his country.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Janice (John) of Jacksonville, FL, and Victoria of Starke, FL; his sister, Beverly (Frank) of Atlanta, GA; and his cherished grandchildren, Christina and Jessica. Gerald was predeceased by his parents, Elmer Leroy and Beulah Mae Oakley. He was preceded in death by his wife of  54 years, Suzanne.

A visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, February 27th at Daniels Memorial Chapel, followed by a service at 11:00 am officiated by Rev. Pat Chewning. Interment will take place in Live Oak Cemetery.
