Glenn W. Hague, 74, Live Oak, FL, passed away on January 22, 2024. The San Antonio, Texas, Native moved to Live Oak 30 years ago. He served as a member of the Air Force during the Vietnam war and remained dedicated to democracy throughout his life. He was not a man of religion, but was a man of faith, describing the Earth as sacred, and citing Jesus as his best friend and guide. His motto in life, above all else, was "Don't Forget to Love."

Glenn loved nature, had tremendous respect for horses, and spent time devoted to caring for them. Eventually his love of nature fused with his love of learning at the University of Florida, where Mr. Hague completed a Bachelor's Degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Management. Glenn was a lover of baseball and served as an umpire for multiple little league teams. He also worked for both the Suwannee Democrat and the Gainesville Sun, delivering newspapers to residents across Suwannee County through rain or shine for over 25 years.

Mr. Hague is survived by his wife and partner in love: Sylvia Hague; daughters: Rachel Birmingham-Hoel (Nikolas); Shiloh Birmingham-Carte (Bryon), Jennifer Bridges (Chad), Sabrina Race; sons: Aaron Birmingham, Joshua Birmingham, Aaron Thomas; 18 grandchildren: Ellie, Nora, Aidan, Lily, Dominique, Elijah, Isaac, Austin, Kyle, Justine, Trenton, Tacie, Amber, Benjamin, Aedeyn, Aaryan, Aaron jr.; and five great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers: Jerry Hague (Sara), and Wendell Hague (Joy), as well as his many beloved nieces and nephews.

Glenn was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 25 years: Nancy Birmingham-Hague; and his granddaughter, Everlee Grace.

A celebration of Glenn's life will take place on Earth Day.
