Gwin Cossano, aged 67, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. She was born in Okinawa, Japan, on January 8, 1958, to Harley Dale and Marlene Giese. Gwin was a cherished member of the Spring Glen United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, FL.

She is survived by her loving mother, Marlene Giese of Live Oak, FL; her daughter, Lisa DiBenedetto and husband Carson of Maryville, TN; her son, Dale Sloniger and wife Lorelei of Jacksonville, FL; her brothers, Mark Giese and wife Darné of Methera, LA, and Aaron Giese and wife Maryanne of Pinkney, MI. Gwin was also a proud grandmother to Henley DiBenedetto and Eleanor DiBenedetto.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd  at 11:00 am at the Daniels Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Jason Surrency officiating. Interment will take place at New Harmony Methodist Church Cemetery.
