Henry Ray Yarghn, 75, passed from this life with family by his side on March 6, 2026. Ray was born on January 8, 1951, in Trenton, FL, and was a cherished member of the Live Oak Church of the Nazarene. He dedicated much of his life to his career as a truck driver, a job that perfectly suited his love for travel. Ray was well-known for his enthusiasm for building and tinkering with his truck, and he found immense joy in hosting family reunions and spending quality time with his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Ellis Yarghn and Rose Lee O'Steen Yarghn, and his sisters, Frances Yarghn and Susan Jean Yarghn. Ray is survived by his devoted wife of 42 years, Elaine Yarghn, and his four children: Henry Yarghn, Jr. (Veronica), Cindy Whittmore (Tommy), Amy Argetsinger (Aaron), and Marla Higdon (Charlie). He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, March 13, at the Church of the Nazarene, with a visitation at 2:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 3:00 pm. Interment will take place at Tiger Lake Baptist Church Cemetery.
