Howard B. Tower, Jr., aged 83, of Live Oak, FL, passed away on February 3, 2026. He was born on September 14, 1942, in Indianapolis, IN. Howard moved to Live Oak from Jacksonville 20 years ago. He proudly served as a veteran of the Korean Conflict in the United States Army. Howard was a devoted member of Southside Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Pattie Tower of Live Oak, FL; his two sons, Joel Tower and his wife Krista, and Clint Tower and his wife Jodi, all residing in Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by his sister, Janet Tower of Indianapolis, IN, and his brother, Jon Tower of New York. Howard was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren: Patrick Tower, Matthew Tower, and Emma Tower.

A service to celebrate Howard's life will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 9th at Southside Baptist Church, with Rev. Tommy Brett officiating. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
